Campground is nice but facilities were poorly kept. Drain in sink was clogged, no soap. But oh well, it's camping.

Lower Pines is a wonderful campground. It’s a little quieter than the much larger Upper Pines and our site (39) was right on the river. It had a lot of shade and was quite large. The only downside was some exceptionally rude other campers who kept walking right through our site, between our table and tent, to go to the river, despite a fence and signs asking people not to trample the planting there. But the site itself was lovely.

Beautiful location right in the valley, surrounded by the most gorgeous scenery. The double site was perfect for hosting our extended family and comfortably accommodating 3 tents and 3 vehicles. Bathrooms were nearby, clean, and had plentiful hooks for hanging toiletry bags and towels. Just remember to bring your own soap since there isn't any in the bathrooms.

Great spot. Four picnic tables, one fire ring, two bear boxes. Theres an island divider between the double site. Not a deal breaker. Additional parking was near by. Great place to start your river float adventure. Very close to two shuttle stops

Campground itself was fine; close to a shuttle stop. My site had absolutely zero shade though, so it was a real struggle to stay comfortable in the afternoon heat. No cell reception.
