Great campsite, right in front of the ranger’s booth, so they’re nearby if you have any questions or need assistance. Shuttle stop #19 is as close as you can get without feeling like it’s actually inside your campsite.
The campsite is spacious and surrounded by trees. There are no other campsites directly next to it. It’s a 1-minute walk to the restrooms, a 2-minute walk to the Merced River at Clark’s Bridge, and about a 7-minute walk to the Camp Curry area.
A few people did walk through our campsite, which was a little annoying at first, but they only did it during the daytime. It’s easy to understand why—it’s a great shortcut to the main road and the shuttle stop. Overall, we really enjoyed the campsite and its location.

Yosemite valley. Site 024. Very spacious. Multiple flat open spots for tents. Large parking for two cars. It’s an island which is cool for where you can set up things.
Large bear box and fire ring. Two picnic tables. They is a dumpster and recycle and gas can recycling at back side but out of the way and you really don’t notice it. Short walk to board walk trail to meadow. That meadow great close view of Half Dome and Star gazing.
Curry village has grocery, ice, food, gifts firewood ($17) larger box w/ kindling.
Peet’s coffee, and food court. Some cell service from site 024.
Also cell in Curry and some Wi-Fi. Best Wi-Fi in Degnans next to visitor center a ways away.
Bathrooms are okay. No soap. Flush toilets. Bring hand sanitizer
Crows and squirrels during day if you leave food out. Bears at night but they generally leave people alone. Kids snd families mostly in Lower Pines and volunteers.
Look for park info tents throughout valley to ask Qs.

Greatly enjoyed our stay. Reserving a spot is nigh impossible, but once you are in the Park and ensconced in your campsite, the experience is fantastic. The location, facilities, stores, and park staff are outstanding. We enjoyed relaxing, family style barbeques, floating in the river, hiking the many trails (Nevada Falls, Panoramic, etc.), and watching the stars/meteor showers in the meadow. August is a bit late in the season, but we found water flowing over Nevada Falls and just enough water in the Merced river to float our tubes next to Lower Pines Campground.

Busy campsite, if you’re near the facilities it will be very bright and loud.

Great experience, looking up at Half Dome above! Clean campsite but you have to be careful with the squirrels! They were very aggressive and unafraid of getting in our stuff. Bear boxes are to protect your food/belongings from the squirrels as well. I would come here again in a heartbeat if there are spots available!

all the staff and rangers since the moment to enter the park are extremelly helpful and kind. They give you all the information you need and some tips. The spot was perfect for a solo camper like me cause it was really close to restrooms and easy acces to the free shuttle.

Stayed in three different sites
69 was good and roomy
21 was a good location, and roomy, but people walk right through camp
34 was not big enough for a 20 ft trailer and long bed pick up in my opinion. And was very crowded by other camps.
All in all dont expect room or privacy in these sites. I dont think I will be back because it just wasn't my scene.

Yosemite is amazing as always. I do not think the campgrounds should allow music on speakers or any type of amplified music as it disrupts others' camping experience. Also, the lights in the bathroom should be on a sensor and very dim at night. There's too much light pollution from the bathrooms. Other than that, we had a fantastic time.

We arrived late in the day. A ranger stopped by at the campsite as we were setting up to go over bear safety. Although we are experienced back county campers, I appreciate that the park service is on top of this.
The campground was quite noisy until quiet hours.
