What Guests Are Saying
Tuolumne Meadows Campground offers beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a great base for exploring Yosemite. Visitors appreciate the educational campfire talks, proximity to the river, and ranger-led programs. However, some campers noted the campground can be crowded, and bathroom facilities are limited, with a long walk to restrooms for some sites.

Rangers and programs are informative and lovely!
The Sierra Club display at Parsons lodge was amazing and the programs and people at the lodge were fabulous. Learning the history of the Park, and the work that the Sierra Club put in to save it, was really great! I hope they always have a place in the park they helped form!
It would be great if there were at least a few First Come First Serve sites available as there were a LOT of sites that went unused because people booked them in advance and then were no-shows.

We love the updated campground. I wonder if you could somehow provide fire pit instructions to campers. The guy next to us created so much thick smoke each night and that was the only negative (and severe) problem we experienced. Campfire at night was great. Rangers at the kiosk were so helpful and pleasant! Love the new Loop H and the established paths to the main campfire. It'll be even better next year if they are able to complete updates on the Tioga Road before weather disallows.

Amazing site across the street from the river. Across from a water spigot and up the hill from the bathroom. Not a very accessible site if you have mobility issues - the bear box is down from the parking spot and the fire ring is down further from that. Nice clearing for the tent.

Great experience overall. Campsites were both awesome and all the renovations are great. Pleasant park staff. We went to the campfire program 3 nights in a row. A memory maker for us. No issues with bears or other campers. There’s nothing like Yosemite!
