What Guests Are Saying
Tuolumne Meadows Campground offers beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a great base for exploring Yosemite. Visitors appreciate the educational campfire talks, proximity to the river, and ranger-led programs. However, some campers noted the campground can be crowded, and bathroom facilities are limited, with a long walk to restrooms for some sites.

Was great to be at Tuolemne campground after a lengthy rebuild. Ranger program very informative. My only criticism was that the local shuttle system was just getting started and the schedule was poorly promulgated and unpredictable.

I appreciate that there were bear cupboards at each site to store food/smellibles in.

This campground was fantastic. We stayed during weekday nights during the summer, so there were lots of campers, but the campground was fairly quiet. The rangers were all very friendly and helpful! The bathrooms were nice and kept clean. There are so many walks, hikes and things to do within walking distance. (Fishing, Swimming, adventures, hiking). The store was a surprising treat that we didn't expect.

We were so happy the campground was open this year. We had a beautiful campsite and got in some great hikes.

Nice, shady campsite. Was quiet, even though adjacent to group campsite. Only because small group present. Close to water spigot and restrooms. Mosquitos in July.

Relatively shady site. Nice, flat, built-up place for tent. Tight fit for 2 tents. Close to water spigot and restrooms. Was quiet when we were there. Some mosquitos in July. Room for 2 cars as listed.
