What Guests Are Saying
Tuolumne Meadows Campground offers beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a great base for exploring Yosemite. Visitors appreciate the educational campfire talks, proximity to the river, and ranger-led programs. However, some campers noted the campground can be crowded, and bathroom facilities are limited, with a long walk to restrooms for some sites.

We had a super time with family and friends. Very clean bathrooms. Many glacial lakes closeby.
Staff is friendly and nice. Would love to go again and again.

Great experience with a very big family group. The facilities were outstanding. There are many nearby attractions. We spent one day at Dog Lake and the other at Tenaya Lake. Very good family fun. Colder than other camp sites like so come prepared.

Great staff and facilities.
Enjoyable and informative evening Ranger talk.
Online booking system made booking two successive nights on same site difficult/ impossible.

Too few campsites available throughout the park and most of them were closed. NO showers anywhere except Housekeeping Camp. No RV hookups. No cell reception. Campsites too close together and bathrooms unkempt which I assume is due to the fools in the White House making more poor business decisions and attempting to exact a pound of flesh on their perceived enemies.
Criminally insufficient availability of pullout spots along roads throughout the entire park.

Very nice campground, especially enjoyed the location. The ranger program at the campfire one evening was excellent.

Ranger programs are truly special - learning about ravens and stargazing was awesome!

No signal of mobile :) Good place to be completely off the grid. Restoom and potable water are available near this location. Those are clearn and very convenient.
Park Rangers were very friendly and kind for us. That was making us very happy.

Spent 4 nights camping solo as I had missed Tuolumne the past 3-4 years. The improvements to the campground were outstanding as new bear boxes, picnic tables & fire pits were replaced. It appears the sites have been leveled as needed and new parking platforms and roadways repaired and or replaced. Overall I had a great time. Plus my site was a short walk to the store & Tuolumne Meadows for night star gazing.
