What Guests Are Saying
Tuolumne Meadows Campground offers beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a great base for exploring Yosemite. Visitors appreciate the educational campfire talks, proximity to the river, and ranger-led programs. However, some campers noted the campground can be crowded, and bathroom facilities are limited, with a long walk to restrooms for some sites.

The update campground is wonderful. The ranger programs were much more engaging than in past years.

Sure would be nice to allow people to know when others cancel - there were lots of empty camp sites. Too bad the smoke was really bad that night.

Excellent camp facilities - clean bathrooms (with toilets that flush!), new bear boxes, great fire rings and conveniently located near the store, grill and several trailheads. Will stay here again!

Great campsite. Our site was large and level. The picnic table was new. Our family loved the nightly group campfires. We saw the programs on bears and nocturnal animals. Both rangers were extremely engaging and informative. We all can’t wait to go back!

Every staff member that we met was friendly and welcoming. Tipping our toes in the river was like heaven. Ice cold heaven. But heaven nonetheless. :)

Many of the spots are too small for Trailer and a Car a good picture could help book the right spot. Overall - a good campground in a very nice spot.

The renovation looks great! Bathrooms are better too. Wish they would have leveled out the tent camping spaces like they did at Crane Flat. Overall we had a great time. A beautiful place to camp. 😊

Great campground. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short because of the Garnet fire. It literally smoked us out, and probably took a few years off our lives. However the campground was amazing. Bathrooms were clean. The area was gorgeous. Will definitely visit again when there isn’t a massive wildfire raging down wind.

Greatest location in Yosemite National Park campground. It’s very good for meditation along the water stream.
