What Guests Are Saying
Tuolumne Meadows Campground offers beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a great base for exploring Yosemite. Visitors appreciate the educational campfire talks, proximity to the river, and ranger-led programs. However, some campers noted the campground can be crowded, and bathroom facilities are limited, with a long walk to restrooms for some sites.

The buttermilk pancakes at the TM grill are huge, easily enough for two persons to share.
I wasnt to thrilled with the work they did to loop A. The double wide road that went in takes away from the intimacy of the campsites along the river.

Very nice campground with lots of trails close by. Good opportunity to see wildlife in the meadows. Even if the campground was busy, the Tuolumne area is much quieter than Yosemite Valley.

we loved the campground. There’s also area is much larger than pictures show. You can setup the tent on a little area in the back close to the trees since the bear locker and picnic table is more towards the front close to the road. Car is parked right in front of it. The area is close to the bathrooms. We found it to be quiet and perfect. It is also close to the exit of the campground so it makes it easy to leave and come in. Toulomne Meadows is also gorgeous! Highly recommended.

It is a great place to stay, what is needed is a way to shower and somewhere to fill up propane tanks nearby. The abundant trails were incredible and one could walk right from the campground. What is most important is to keep the costs down so people of all incomes can stay there.

Cool place. Good site, great parking and not too crowded. Good access to restrooms and dumpsters. Good space between neighbors.

We had been looking forward to visiting Tuolumne Meadows Campground after the 3-year closure for renovations.
We were pleased with the improvements- noticeably- the absence of potholes driving through the campground, improved signage and refurbished or new restrooms.
As always reservations are a challenge, that being said, Tuolumne Meadows never disappoints with its stellar beauty!

The renovation at Tuolomne meadows campground was worth the wait. The camp spots were graveled and mostly level. New fire pits, picnic tables and bear boxes were very welcome.
