What Guests Are Saying
Tuolumne Meadows Campground offers beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a great base for exploring Yosemite. Visitors appreciate the educational campfire talks, proximity to the river, and ranger-led programs. However, some campers noted the campground can be crowded, and bathroom facilities are limited, with a long walk to restrooms for some sites.

Be careful what you reserve. The hike in spots were kind of a long way to go with a lot of stuff!

The camping was great. I was a bit upset by the number of trees cut down near Tuolumne Meadows. It appears to have been for drainage or sewer lines. This definitely has impacted the beauty. It appears that the construction company installing the sidewalks and curbs over the prior years did not follow the plans. Also, the use of chainsaws in Wilderness/National Park has always been not allowed, only hand saws. How was this allowed?

Campground was very well kept and clean. We loved it! Thank You. Easy to get reservations at last minute, instead of in advance. Which made it awkward to plan, but now we know we can probably get a spot if we wait for next time. We had a reunion of TML staff and really enjoyed ourselves.

Rangers and Attendants were nice and helpful.
NO Shows should pay a higher penalty to stop them from leaving desirable campsites empty when so many are trying to get a site. We saw a high percentage rate of empty sites

We were in the H loop which was quiet and very shaded. Other loops did not appear as private. It was a great experience. I will note that the bathrooms have no lights at night so bring a headlamp.

This my very first trip to Yosemite and the first time I've camped in a very long time. And I was solo. The camp site was clean, spacious and easy to access. Restrooms were clean and supplied. The rangers were all very helpful. It was an easy drive down the hill to the valley. All in all, this was a great trip.
