What Guests Are Saying
Tuolumne Meadows Campground offers beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a great base for exploring Yosemite. Visitors appreciate the educational campfire talks, proximity to the river, and ranger-led programs. However, some campers noted the campground can be crowded, and bathroom facilities are limited, with a long walk to restrooms for some sites.

All personnel and correspondent facilities were top of the line. Even that is a bulk space, it was clean, quiet and comfortable for a nice weekend.

Love this campground, even better since remodeled! We had really great space in C46 and appreciated how much sun this site gets.

The area for a 4-person tent was sloped; if I had taken my 2-person backpack tent I could have put it in a leveled spot. There was more sun than I liked. I got back each day ~1:00 and spent the afternoon chasing the almost non-existent shade. I liked the location of this site.

Only one parking space, and right in front of where the search and rescue live so we had an unfortunate experience with one of them being super rude and harassing us over having our second car unloading. Other than that the whole campground was amazing!

Site A7 is right on the road near entrance and there is a lot of foot and vehicle traffic going by. It's also right next to restrooms, and while that's convenient, it's another form of traffic. One benefit is that A7 is a short walk to the market.

Site E7 has a lot of open space on each side giving it a sense of seclusion, but there is another site directly across the road. The driveway can accommodate two vehicles if they're not too big. It's a relatively quiet location with a short walk to restrooms.

Site D12 has neighbors very close by. Sitting by the fire pit you can see and hear them clearly. I think the park service should focus on quality when designing campsites, not quantity. It would be better to have fewer campsites that offer a sense of privacy rather than be forced to share your camping experience with strangers. The only benefit to D12 is its close proximity to a restroom.

Relatively shady site. Nice, flat, built-up place for tent. Tight fit for 2 tents. Close to water spigot and restrooms. Was quiet when we were there. Some mosquitos in July. Room for 2 cars as listed.

Nice, shady campsite. Was quiet, even though adjacent to group campsite. Only because small group present. Close to water spigot and restrooms. Mosquitos in July.
