What Guests Are Saying
Tuolumne Meadows Campground offers beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a great base for exploring Yosemite. Visitors appreciate the educational campfire talks, proximity to the river, and ranger-led programs. However, some campers noted the campground can be crowded, and bathroom facilities are limited, with a long walk to restrooms for some sites.

I like the way the campground is so spacious so that one is not right next to someone else. The bear locker was up off the ground and the bathrooms were functioning and very clean. We appreciate those two new additions. My only complaint would be about other campers being loud or playing music from a car radio or bluetooth. Perhaps that could be monitored by park personel more.

crowded, people driving way too fast, fire pit of our campsite was right next to the road.
Quietest day was Saturday b/c so many vacant spots even though Recreation.gov shows it as full.

Beautiful campground! Our site (H035) was slightly more private than some others. Very well maintained site and very clean bathrooms! We bought firewood at the Crane Flat gas station, super easy. A few gnats around camp, but almost no mosquitoes when we were there.

Tuolomne Meadows is an amazing campground and location. Site F001 was serviceable and pretty but quite far from the entrance and the river. It is also closest to a small bathroom that often had a line.

This is a wonderful camp ground right across from the Meadows. The camp grounds are very well maintained, and the staff was super friendly. We can’t wait to go back again!

The process to reserve was simple. The site was easy to access, and clean. Cyndi, the Camp Host was extremely helpful.

Tuolumne Meadows campsite was great. We enjoyed the evening campfire talks, wildflower walk, and daily swims in the river. We were able to park two small campervans in the driveway of our campsite and enjoyed hikes to nearby lakes. It was peaceful and quiet and we were able to text messages via verizon. Bathrooms were clean and nearby. Yosemite National Park was very busy and parking at attractions was tricky, but Tenaya lake was worth going to for kayaking and swimming. Hike to dog lake and to Elizabeth lake was easy and worthwhile. Driving and hiking to see the giant sequoia trees was sunny and hot but they were impressive. Had we been a few weeks earlier, we might have enjoyed ripe thimbleberries!

Great campground with tons of amazing hiking and views all around. Shout out to the staff for lending me a sleeping bag from their collection of leftover stuff since I had forgotten mind. Fantastic experience!
