We loved this campground. It is a nice quiet base to come home to after visiting the valley and Glacier Point. It was wonderful falling asleep to sound of the river at night an exploring the surroundings. Having stayed in the valley before, we highly recommend this beautiful campground.

Wonderful campground, water is great, can collect firewood! Should remember that there are no showers. If this place had showers it would be the best!!!

It was my second time at Yosemite but first time camping at Wawona. The experience was wonderful from the start. No hassle with checking in after hours and the park rangers were friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The campground is kept very clean and provides a quiet and peaceful environment. We were camped just steps away from the river which was also memorable. Traffic overall was not bad when driving up the mountain to see the beautiful sites. Gorgeous views everywhere. Definitely recommend!

Okay campground. On a slight slope with no shade.
The camp staff modified our reservation and cancelled one of our nights, and then gave that night to another family. The camp staff attempted to state that I must have cancelled a night when I don’t even have service here. Additionally the documents provided by the staff indicated the cancellation was done “internally” by their staff. Yet the staff denied it was their fault.
