Just wanted to say thank you to the camp rangers for keeping this campground so beautiful. There is so much to do and see in the area. We couldn't get to everything so we will have to come back. Be aware of mosquitoes, do what you need to do to protect yourself.

The time of day that generators can be used could be adjusted to post 7 pm but prior to 10. It was difficult to keep things running when you had to shut down so early.,there are plenty of hours to energize up but the configurations do not lend themselves. I surmise my rig was the biggest one in there and the site did not have any privacy and I felt like tent campers etc considered people in rigs pariahs.

Wawona is our favorite campground in Yosemite National Park. It's a quick 40min drive to the valley but the campground is way more enjoyable. The only tension, and this is from 20 years of camping in the area is Thursday & Friday nights the campground quite hours are not respected and there is not camp host on site to help enforce them. If you travel with kids just be advised you may encounter weekend campground parties that go till 2-3am regardless of how many times you request them to follow quiet hours

Perfectly fine campground, putting us in good position to visit the Mariposa Grove on the morning we departed. Be aware, however, that there are no hiking trails from this campground.

What a lovely spot. Great access to general store, gas, visitor center at Wawona. Sounds of crickets and rivers.

Pretty close to Yosemite but 35B is not a good place to stay due to slope and not enough space for a car. There are no showers here.

The spot is pretty spacious, has a fire pit with barbecue grill and a bear proof food box. There are clean restrooms (with showers) on the premises. We all loved it and had a great time. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time and we’re very grateful to have camping spots as I know they fill up quick. We stay three nights and bounce to three different sites, which was just fine and provided some time for us to realize how much we did not need lol. I would recommend Site 27 a have trees planted or shrubs separating the picnic table from the bathrooms. There is no privacy with a lot of traffic to the bathroom. I would also recommend more signs reminding people to be quiet and the beautiful nature they are staying in, as some people are looking for the peace that nature provides

Take Highway 41 north from Fresno, Highway 140 east from Merced, or Highway 120 east from Manteca into Yosemite National Park. Follow signs to Wawona. The campground is located 8 miles north of the South Entrance station on Highway 41, and 27 miles south of Yosemite Valley.

General
- You are responsible for reading the following information and booking a site that will accommodate your equipment.
- If arriving one or more days late, call (209) 375-9535; your reservation will be cancelled if we do not hear from you within 24 hours of your arrival date.
- Bear Habitat! Food and toiletries must be stored in provided food lockers. Absolutely NO food or scented items stored in vehicles. Dispose of garbage immediately in bear-proof dumpsters.
- Potable water at the dump station (located one mile south of the campground) is only available during summer months.
- Resale or auction of advance reservations is prohibited

- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
