Lovely campsite with a river just adjacent which was amazing for wild swimming. The pitches were well spaced and generator use/other noise was minimum so we got a great nights sleep. Perfect for access to the Wagon area of Yosemite but also under an hour to the village and Glacier point. The rangers were so helpful at pointing us in the right direction for things to do with our young boys which we otherwise may not have discovered.

But a beautiful campground with a spot right on the river that we were able to wade in. Clean campsites and bathrooms with plenty of parking space for our rooftop tent. I was blown away by the bear safety of everyone who camped here made me so happy to see everyone taking it seriously:

Loop B-35 was an incredible experience! Being right next to the Merced River with its gentle sounds through the night was so peaceful. The darkness allowed for a breathtaking display of stars I've never witnessed before. I'm already hoping to snag another reservation soon!

Quiet hours were not respected and campers played loud music until midnight. Good facilities and nice scenery.

Not a good experience at the Wawona campground. It's like camping in a crowded city park. We counted twenty two drive by patrols from park officials in one day and we had two ranger visits in our campsite to tell us the rules. Not exactly the experience we were hoping for.

Great campground! Rangers were very kind and informative. Wonderful access to the Merced river for water play. There was a ranger talk every evening which was engaging for both kids and adults.
