Campground was extremely clean. Saw and talked to Rangers everyday. All of them were very excellent. They provided valuable information and were very friendly. The volunteer at the gate was also great. We were in a jeep and looking for places to off-road. He provided great destinations each day. Supplies were readily available just a couple miles from the camp.

Came for my son’s 2nd birthday I enjoyed it. Will say this is really close to the next campsite but it was not an issue for us as everyone who stayed there only came to sleep and they would dip really early but if your looking to find the perfect side by side campground I’d say th one we stayed and the one next to it are good. The restrooms were really close including the water fountain. Just be aware of when your booking they do NOT let you in until noon as they close the gate from loop b and c temporarily if you plan on coming earlier than check in time just be aware of this. It was about an hour drive up to the park but well worth it

Great campground, but a long, tense drive from the Valley after a busy day of hiking. Peaceful, good size sites, but bathrooms aren't convenient to all sites.

THe first site I was at was great, we were on a hill far away from other tents. the second site we were less than 20 feet from the nearest tent, which wasn't nice.

Campsite was pretty exposed to the sun, so it activated my MRDS. Close proximity to 3 other sites (“shared backyards”). Easy walk to the creek and Mariposa Grove shuttles

Take Highway 41 north from Fresno, Highway 140 east from Merced, or Highway 120 east from Manteca into Yosemite National Park. Follow signs to Wawona. The campground is located 8 miles north of the South Entrance station on Highway 41, and 27 miles south of Yosemite Valley.

General
- You are responsible for reading the following information and booking a site that will accommodate your equipment.
- If arriving one or more days late, call (209) 375-9535; your reservation will be cancelled if we do not hear from you within 24 hours of your arrival date.
- Bear Habitat! Food and toiletries must be stored in provided food lockers. Absolutely NO food or scented items stored in vehicles. Dispose of garbage immediately in bear-proof dumpsters.
- Potable water at the dump station (located one mile south of the campground) is only available during summer months.
- Resale or auction of advance reservations is prohibited

- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
