Wonderful location where it is easy to make some hikes in the park. Our campground was a bit uneven and our levelling system could just handle this, next time we need some levelling blocks… otherwise all good for this price.

Very interesting location. On site wifi, water and sani dump. Although the sani dump was $20 quite a bit more than the norm. Pleasant staff. Nice info centre. Lots of room for various size rigs and nice tent sites.

Wonderful location where it is easy to make some hikes in the park. Our campground was a bit uneven and our levelling system could just handle this, next time we need some levelling blocks… otherwise all good for this price.

Site was large and pretty level. Close enough to bathrooms and was great to walk the pup around. Great spot to set up to see both the sunset and sunrise.

I love Joshua Tree but when i booked the campground, i hadnt noticed it was for RVs so i was sandwiched between 2 big trailers and diesel fumes were annoying while folks were coming and going. I should have checked for a tents only area. But, i usually like this park a lot

Getting There
Take Interstate 10 to Route 62 into the town of Yucca Valley. Turn south on Joshua Lane and follow signs to campground, about five miles from the turn.

If coming south on Highway 247, go straight across Highway 62 and continue onto Joshua Lane. There will be no sign for the park as you cross Route 62.
Highway access
Black Rock Campground is accessible via Interstate 10 and Route 62. From Interstate 10, take Route 62 into Yucca Valley, then proceed south on Joshua Lane for approximately five miles to reach the campground.
