Red ants and tons of bugs at night, but that's the experience right? Great campground. Nice bathrooms. The set up is perfect. Best campground in the park.

While the site was beautiful, the campsites were very close together. There was a large group playing music, drinking and being loud until 3am a few sites down, plus young children yelling at dawn in a different site. Not the most peaceful campsite, but a good jumping off spot for driving into the park for daytrips.

We arrived after dark and it was nearly impossible to find our space and get into it because the campground roads are not clearly marked. There was no entrance area or check in and so we finally drove around with our Google map on my phone and a flashlight outside to find our space. Very quiet and lovely in the morning. Nice level space, but so hard to find in the dark.

Great campground. It was very quiet when we were there in late Sept, but it beautiful and so lovely to sit around and view the hills around. Mike the host was great. Shame no showers but toilets were good. It’s a bit of a drive to JT park, about 30 mins, but it worked well for us. Also some nice trails near by.

Great location! Wonderful views in trees at sunrise. Great camp host.
Pavement is poor, potholes and uneven. Go slow.
