Facilities were very clean. Staff were very friendly. Campsites were well maintained. I loved that this wasn’t connect led directly to the rest of Joshua Tree. So no one drove through your campsite unless they also stayed here.

Very nice campground with potable water and flush toilets. Individual sites have plenty of room and great views, surrounded by Joshua Trees throughout. Convenient to Yucca Valley and to the West entrance, too.

The campground was fantastic! The spots were easily accessible even for a sedan, so we had no trouble pulling in. The bathroom did not have soap though, so bring some hand sanitizer!

The park itself was awesome. Lots of good hiking trails. Restrooms at trail heads were clean. We had our trailer at Black Rock Campground. Restrooms were clean as was the dump station. Lots of people were camping in tents. I'm sure they would appreciate it if the Park put in some showers. The roads in the campground were in really poor condition. The spaces for camping and trailers could really use some leveling. I had to raise one side of my trailer 5" to level it.

It was a great spot, there is a slight slope, but we just parked our cars there which left more than enough space for our tents. The sky was absolutely beautiful, can’t wait to go again.
PS: If you get there after dark it’s on the road to the left after passing the split in the road.

I didn't realize you had to leave Joshua Tree National park before entering back into this campground, but it was nice to be closer to civilization. This campsite was huge and we tent camped right under several Joshua trees. We hiked up the mountain beside the campground for some great views! Flushable toilets were a bonus.
