It would be nice if you could provide a Port a Potty in the area. It’s really not fair to restrict us to walking 2 blocks in the dark to use the other campgrounds facility. You don’t even provide a walkway..

Had a great stay at Black Rock even though the weather wasn't great. It was so nice to have stalls and there was plenty of room for maneuvering rigs. Trails were great for riding, bathrooms were nice and the proximity to town, Pioneertown, etc., was very convenient. Will definitely be back.

This location never disappoints.
The trails and scenery are awesome. The equestrian camp is very nice. Flat and easy to park. For improvement another water faucet on the other side would be ideal. And restrooms closer with a shower..
Then more horse corrals! That's all..lol I love it here and it's only an hour drive from home

Love all of the trail markers signs The equestrian camp needs at least two more water bibs (one in the corner by the road, the other in the other corner by the huge Joshua Tree. Water is difficult to transport. Some of us are not fully contained.
Please leave the parking for rigs the way it is. There were at least 20 rigs there, and everyone fit well. Organized parking won't work. Our rigs are all different sizes so at is is works out well.
Staff at the Ranger Station as always, were very pleasant.

Getting There
Take Interstate 10 to Route 62 into the town of Yucca Valley. Turn south on Joshua Lane and follow signs to campground, about five miles from the turn.

If coming south on Highway 247, go straight across Highway 62 and continue onto Joshua Lane. There will be no sign for the park as you cross Route 62.
Highway access
Access to Black Rock Equestrian Campground is via Interstate 10 and Route 62. The campground can be reached by turning south on Joshua Lane from Route 62 in Yucca Valley.
