The camping area is very nice and well maintained. Camping spots are small. We have a 20ft trailer and truck and weren’t able to fit in the space. We had to park the truck sideways in front of the trailer so it wasn’t sticking out on the road. Other than that the spots are nice. They have a fire pit with grilling grate and a picnic table. There are also restrooms in the area if you are tent camping. We would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Sand Gulch. Quiet, peaceful with frequent hummingbird visits. We will definitely be back.

Love the primitive feel of this campground and that climbing was a 15 min hike from our campsite, plus Shelf road is great. Bathroom was clean and stocked with TP, great view, good cell service but we have starlink. Will definitely stay here again!!

The views are incredible. The sites fairly well spaced but the one way road is setup in the wrong direction for RV's to back in and have your door on the correct side. We had to go in the opposite direction. The camp host gave us the OK.

Peaceful and quiet. Jerry the camp host was such a nice man!
My only suggestion for improvement on the group site is to make the parking area bigger. The 4 vehicles area is very tight.

The campground was the cleanest I have ever experienced. The sites were level and the terrain between sites was groomed between the bushes. Restrooms were all clean all of the time. The camp host Jerry was very friendly and we talked to him several times. We cannot get back here soon enough!

The sites were nice, rent platform, nice picnic table, fire pit, ample parking. Refurbished Campground since my last visit, more bathrooms. Bathrooms were clean and ample toilet paper. Loved the walkability to climbing .

Nice campsite with vault toilet and fire pit. Only warning is that really strong toilet smells drift over to site 1 (and I’m sure others near it) so would recommend choosing a site farther away. Otherwise no complaints
