This campground is very peaceful. The host was attentive. The views are limited but the sound of the stream running along the campground provides a unique ambiance.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds! The trees and steam are beautiful. Eddy is such a pleasant campground host. Always friendly interactions as if we’ve known him forever. The bathrooms are always kept as clean as can be.

Someone was in my lot when I arrived at 1:30. They were supposed to be gone by 12 noon. The camp host was not at the campground that day. I had to sit and wait for those in my lot for 30min for them to leave.

We only stayed one night but it was very peaceful and quiet. Enjoyed that it was far away from the traffic noise.

We enjoyed site #6 at St Charles campground. It was right next to a small babbling brook. After a drizzly morning we drove to Bishop’s Castle nearby-a fun, quirky place. A hike around Lake Isabel wound up our 2 day visit. The campground host was friendly and informative. Clean bathrooms too.

Campground host was very friendly and helpful. Shared facilities were clean. Poor guy got bit by someone’s dog while handing them their tag. Please campers control your animals!
