Close proximity to the maroon bells. Daytime noise from the bus passing along the road, but the bubbling river was a great sound machine to sleep to at night. Clean toilets and a good spot for a tent and vampire/table

Great location. Watch out for Bicyclists on the road - they have no idea about the rules of the road.

Rangers are very friendly and helpful, and the campsite is beautiful! No firewood is sold in the area so (if there isn't a fire ban) make sure to stock up in town

The campsite (#6) was beautiful, right along the creek. The bathrooms are less than desirable, but that's pretty much gonna be a given at any such campground. That being said, the staff do the best they can at keeping them clean.

Word of advice, if you want to have a nice hot shower and use some nice facilities, the Aspen Recreation Center charges $11.50 to use the showers/locker room, or $25 to use the full facility (gym, pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, etc..). Honestly, to me it was well worth the price. As you'd expect for Aspen, the facility is world class.
