Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort

This has been a go to location for me and my family for years and never disappoints. Never been a fan of the concrete and open space RV camps (might as well be a parking lot), more nature the better. All the trees and seclusion plus the conveniences they provide is fantastic. The staff even went above and beyond and helped us locate a propane regulator to use for the weekend when I realized I forgot to pack ours.

Special Note: A rule that my parents had growing up was we had to leave a place better than we found it. This usually meant finding and pickup up any trash that wasn't ours before we left. I have passed this rule down to my own children. I bring this up because when we went to leave Mountaindale after our stay, my children complained that they couldn't find trash to pick up because the resort is kept so clean.

Fantastic campground. We stayed at lot 77. Meant to stay just a few days but extended to five. New single bathrooms that are extremely nice, luxury like a home bathroom. The employees are outstanding, friendly and helpful. We have and were very pleased. Did I mention central to everything, the place made our visit!

We got expert guidance in backing into our spot. The spot itself was wonderful - large, flat, and provided enough tree cover without feeling claustrophobic.

It’s a wonderful location and we had no problem exploring Garden of the Gods and Seven Falls, with plenty of time to make it back for dinner.

The WiFi coverage is top notch - we would definitely be able to work from there.

The RV park was great. It was well kept and beautiful with all the trees, plants and flowers. The walking areas were nice. My husband used the showers and they were very clean. I will definitely stay here again.

We were vacationers here for years and now consider it a home base when we travel outside of Colorado. We used to be residents. The scenery and wild life never get old. Peaceful and it stirs your senses! Owner and staff are kind and helpful. Our favorite campground in Southern CO by far!
