This was our third year at the campground and our stay was quite enjoyable. The campground is quiet and the West Dolores river was the most dominant sound we heard. Other campers seemed to be quite respectful of the area and the ambiance.
We were fortunate to avoid impact from wildfires in this part of Colorado and afternoon showers helped a great deal. Air quality was quite good in our area the the amazing firefighters that battled three major fires did an outstanding job.
The camp host, Blaine, is a wonderful asset for the campground experience here. It is always a pleasure to see him and is commitment to the property is outstanding.

You arrive via a lovely canyon, and the campground is in a beautiful setting. The river is right there!

Great old fashioned campground with many sites along the river. Minimal facilities so bring your own fun. This campground host has cleared a common area where some families were able to play games on the mowed grass.
