What Guests Are Saying
North Fruita Desert Campground is highly praised for its excellent proximity to mountain biking trails, clean facilities, and well-maintained sites, making it a great choice for campers, especially families. While some visitors noted the need to bring their own toilet paper and mentioned that some sites are sloped or close together, the overall camping experience is considered enjoyable and family-friendly. Many hope for improved management regarding reservations and restroom supplies, but the campground remains a favored spot for outdoor enthusiasts.

Our site was good; the bathrooms were probably the cleanest bathrooms I have experienced at a BLM campsite, and the camp host was friendly and overall awesome!

We camped in the G campsite which is a newly developed area. The site worked perfect for our needs, everyone in the group had a place to pitch their tent and the site was nice and level. The bathrooms at this campsite were exceptionally clean and the camp host was super helpful and friendly.

The reservation system is a joke. Online it showed every site booked for the week and there were maybe 10 sites taken. Sean was very helpful but we had to move 3x bc of flawed reservations.

restrooms were clean and ample. All I would say is that it was a little pricey for what it is. Limited space/separation from neighboring campsites with only simple facilities means it’s hardly worth 50 bucks for two nights. The surrounding trail system (18 road trails) is incredibly well set up, and I can’t say enough good things about it.
