I do not recommend Loop C site 56. It was not the worst camping spot I've ever had, but it was up there. The site was incredibly small, with only one spot that was even close to being flat to put a tent. It was not a tent pad, although other sites in this loop had them - not sure why this one didn't? My stakes would only go about 2 inches into the ground, as it appeared to be concrete underneath the dirt or something I kept hitting, no mater where I moved my tent. The picnic table was nice. The rest of the site was kind of like a ditch or big ruts. I would NOT want to be in a tent around that if it rained as you'd get washed away or flooded! There was barely a little spot for me to pull over. It's probably a better location for someone with a van to sleep in who doesn't need a tent spot. The other sites were bigger and many had the tent pads. I would come back to the campground, but choose a different site.

This campsite has absolutely stunning views! The sites are quite close together, so you will definitely see and hear your neighbors. The bathrooms were clean and the camp host was very attentive.

Nice location with views of Fruita and the surrounding mountains. Clean bathrooms. The monument rim drive is beautiful with plenty of pull outs and several hikes.

Beautiful campground with stunning views of the surrounding park. Facilities were really nice as well. This particular site had a reasonably level pull-through access with a small hill up to the tent site and table, worked well for an 18ft popup.

We really appreciated in loop C where no generators were allowed. This makes for a much better experience in a campground to enjoy the peace and quite of nature all around.
