Site C80 has a lovely view. All sites in loop C have a tent area, picnic table, and grill for charcoal. The water is close by, and the tent loop has restrooms with flush toilets, a sink, and electricity (I charged my phone while brushing my teeth).

Unfortunately we did not get to stay here. The wind was so strong with a storm coming that it actually blew our tent up in the air. The host was very kind as we hurried to pack up and leave. The area is very clean and I hope to come back. It’s a lovely set up

Beautiful campground and view. Very clean restrooms. Water is not working on the women's side even though there is a sign suggesting how to turn it on. My biggest complaint is the large rocks around the parking area. Too narrow, too easy to hit. I now have a good size dent in my passenger door.

My stay was from 13 - 17 July. The weather was hot, hot, hot! I prepared with lots of water, a sunscreen for my windshield, and lots of books to read! Restrooms were clean and functional.

Westbound on Highway I-70 towards Grand Junction: take Exit 31 (Horizon Drive). Follow signs through Grand Junction to the park's east entrance. The visitor center and campground are 19 miles (30 km) from the east entrance.
Eastbound on Highway I-70 (Fruita): Take Exit 19. Turn south on Highway 340 to the park's west entrance, which is approximately three miles (5 km) from Fruita. The visitor center and campground are four miles (6 km) beyond the west entrance.
