Unbeatable views over the Grand Valley, and stars at night. This is such a well-kept campground. The bathrooms are always clean.

Beautiful area. Close proximity to restrooms and water. Easy to get to from freeway....especially if you like curves.

The campsite I reserved online was not suitable for our tents. Luckily there were a few others open. It would be nice if “C” loop were open earlier in the season, since all those sites are tent friendly. Otherwise, the National Monument didn’t disappoint, even with the overnight snow. The camp host was very helpful, and the bathrooms were clean. I’ll be back.

Great place, just make sure everyone is your vehicle likes mountain driving, quiet and road. Camp host was fantastic, very friendly, we broke a window during a snowstorm and he provided heavy duty plastic bags

This campground was a great find- truly a "hidden gem" according to others we talked to (maybe less "hidden" after this review.) The sites were well maintained as were the restrooms and the other campers were respectful of quiet hours in the evenings. We also had a great time talking with the very friendly and informative park ranger (Jerry or Terry?)
One note- if your're planning on going do look at the reviews of the individual sites. This helped me to avoid #27, which is quite small and right near the restrooms. Also, many of the sites are quite close together, so keep that in mind.

Campground site was great for our group - we had two vehicles, one with a rooftop tent and the other built out inside. The driveway fit both comfortably and was flat so it was easy to set up. Restrooms were nearby and clean. This site is close to the site behind, so would be good for a group coming in that needed two sites, but if you want space, this might not be the best site because the table areas are pretty close together. There is hiking trails you can take from the campground and it would be a good area to road bike. You are fairly close to the visitor center and amphitheater.
