Saddlehorn Campground offers breathtaking views and well-maintained facilities, including exceptionally clean bathrooms and attentive camp hosts. While some sites are close together and certain spots may not be ideal for tents, many campers appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, especially in the tent-only sections. Literally one of my favorite places to camp! Very chill, and love the views! Clean bathrooms too!

Campground is great, but the site we slept at (33b) had a power pole next to the tent pad. We could hear and feel the electricity surging all night long. I would not recommend using this as an active site for users. First it seems very dangerous to sleep under the power pole, second the fact that we can feel the electricty is unerving.

Stayed at Campsite 76C from 10/3-10/5 and it was great! EZ-up or a canopy is definitely needed during the peak heat of the day, or you can go cool off down by the Colorado River. This specific spot was awesome, not a ton of people throughout the day, but the campsites around filled up towards the end of the day. Right next to the water fill-up station, and a short walk from the bathrooms.

We loved staying at the Saddlehorn CG. The area is stunning, bathrooms clean, and fairly convenient to get to town. Neither of us had ever stayed at Colorado National Monument before, but we certainly would like to do it again.

We really enjoy this campground, especially C loop when it's available.

I arrived after dark and found someone else camped in my reserved site. They weren't present. The camp hosts was off duty and the park visitor center was closed for the day. My recreation.gov email suggested I could change sites after arrival, but all sites were x'ed out when I tried to modify my reservation despite several sites showing available on a new reservation search.
This campground offered a better user experience when actual "open" or "reserved" signs were posted on each campsite, with name and dates as appropriate, instead of a generic "go online to check availability or reserve" on every site. Not everyone will be able or choose to check online before just setting up in a nice, apparently unoccupied site.

Very nice and clean campground. Looks like they are upgrading camp sites and adding tent/table pads. Bathrooms were spotless.

A beautiful place that I visit each year and I m somewhat disappointed with the evolution of this place. Threes are dying and nothing replace them. The trails are so badly marked that every one is walking everywhere, damaging this fragile ecosystem. We might not return.

This is a beautiful campground, the spaces are a bit close together but all in all a nice stop over. I wish I would have had the time to explore the area more.
