The area was beautiful. The sites are maintained and the staff was super helpful and friendly. I would recommend this campground to anyone wanting to find a great place to fish or just chill.

I LOVED this campsite and will be back. Host was friendly and pit toilets were clean, the river runs by the campsite and there’s great access and overlooks to enjoy. Easy to get to gunnison n forest or head towards crested butte. My one complaint is that the sites on the loop facing the road definitely have less privacy but most are still good. Mine in particular there was no foiliage up by the road between the campsite so it was particularly not private and loud with cars- but all the other sites had more trees etc. will definitely be back!

Not a bad spot in the campground. Nice and quiet and the bathrooms are taken well care of. Close to the river for a quick dip!

Amazing camp host who moved me to a nicer site when someone cancelled last minute. Grounds are immaculate and stunningly beautiful with lots of places to hang out on the river right at the campground property. Great location to lots of sites in the area.

Nice small campground with an excellent host(ess). We're not sure she will be back next year because she is moving up the management ladder! The river is beautiful, and the most exciting event was the cattle drive that goes right up the road for several days running. They have to finish before the 4th of July holiday.

By far the nicest campground in Taylor Canyon. There's great river access for all sites via a somewhat paved pathway, and there are two large paved spots where you could feasibly take a raft out and/or pull up some camp chairs and just enjoy the rapids. The restrooms were the cleanest we've ever seen, thanks to Tracy, who made sure they were clean, smelled nice, had hand sanitizer, and even something on the toilets to prevent that unpleasant clanging when you flip the lid up. Camp was a little dusty with dogs, so next time we'll be going for a riverside site with a paved picnic area and dedicated tent pad. I'm sensitive to road noise, but being next to the road didn't bother me like I thought it would - though it could have been low traffic given the low water year. The cows did come through, which clogged up the road and made a ruckus for about 45 minutes, but it was an experience to see the drive. We will be back!
