Elkhorn RV Resort

Elkhorn RV Resort at Lake City did not disappoint being our 3 rd year to the RV park. Family and friends enjoyed the full RV hookups and cute cabins for those that needed them. They offer the cleanest bathrooms/and laundry services if you need them. The Resort offers easy access to town, trails, and fishing. The best part is the memories made and the friendly hospitality from the park owners.

Awesome RV resort! Stayed here for 8 nights over 4th of July 2026. Big RV sites i was able to fit my camper, boat, extra car and side by side in my site. The restroom/shower facility was spotless and clean always. The laundry room had several washers and dryers and even large commercial washers for bedding. They offer free popcorn and coffee in the common area and have free access to a grill and Blackstone. Very nice place. The owners are on-site making sure everything is neet and tidy. Would definitely reccomend staying here if in Lake City. Everyone at the resort was respectful and quiet.

Campsites are gravel sites, not exceptionally level and quite close together.

Utilities worked as expected. We didn’t try the WiFi.

During our final couple of days there, the garbage dumpster was 100% full.

Onsite employees were friendly.

We had an end site which was good sized, other sites seemed quite small. We were taken back by the inhospitable welcome we received when we parked away from the office, not realizing where to best park when checking in. She was surprisingly rude and invited us to leave, even when we apologized for our error. When we greeted her later, she didn't look at us or speak. We won't be back. Our son stayed in a cabin which he said was comfortable.

Easy access to Alpine Loop and you can walk to all the local shops. We have a 40’ toy hauler and it fit in the camping spot with no issues. Owners are super helpful and friendly. Ice, firewood and propane are available and reasonably priced.
