My wife and I stayed here for two nights for the July 4th weekend. Albert and Betty were the nicest hosts and made our time here super enjoyable. This was a perfect place to stay for our Mesa Verde National Park trip. It was also really nice to have hot showers and clean bathrooms while camping. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice camping/glamping experience.

Absolutely the best place we have ever camped. The camp hosts Albert and Betty were so accommodating and made our trip extra special. They provided a movie and chocolate in the evening and made our kids feel so special. The facility was immaculate and had so many more accommodations than we thought. Splash pad was great. There was so much wildlife, too. We could ride to the trailhead, too. Thanks again, Albert and Betty!!

This was a core memory maker! The best camp spot we have ever stayed at! Sites and facilities are amazing. Everything is clean and well kept. The camp host Albert and Betty were so hospitable and made our stay extra special. Location to the park was easy and so close to Phil’s World for so really great mountain biking. Will be back for sure!

This is easily one of the nicest, most thoughtfully maintained, comfortable, and welcoming campgrounds I've stayed at in years.

As someone who spent many summers hauling my little goblins from campground to campground, I found myself wishing they could have experienced this place when they were younger. Alas, they are now fully grown goblins. That said, I know they would still love it.

The setting is beautiful. You have views of Mesa Verde in the distance, Sleeping Ute Mountain standing watch on the horizon, spectacular sunsets, and some of the darkest, starriest skies you'll find anywhere. What really sets this campground apart, though, is how accessible it is for families and travelers who want a camping experience without needing to own a garage full of gear. They provide nearly everything you need (except the tent, though REI has you covered there).

The amenities were exceptional. The bathrooms were spotless and stocked with high-quality soaps and shampoos. Anyone who has spent time camping in the high desert knows that keeping facilities this clean is no small feat.

Most of all, I want to mention the hosts. We were weary travelers on our way to Zion National Park and only stayed for a single night, but that was more than enough time to feel genuinely welcomed. They were accommodating, attentive, knowledgeable, and deeply kind. The kind of people who take real pride in creating a wonderful experience for their guests. You can feel it in every detail.

We'll definitely be back. And next time, I'll be bringing the big goblins. Don't hesitate to make this place a destination. You'll feel right at home.

This was our best campsite yet. The camp hosts, Albert & Betty were beyond phenomenal to make sure we had what we needed at the site, fixed any issues promptly, and showed our kids extreme kindness and generosity. The kids LOVED bone hunting and exploring. Campsites are so nice with the amenities provided. Will be back!!
