What Guests Are Saying

Marvine Campground is praised for its beautiful, remote location and well-maintained sites, making it ideal for hiking and horse camping. Reviewers appreciate the friendly camp host who keeps the campground clean and organized, with accessible hiking trails nearby. However, there are some concerns about unclear camping fees and rules, as well as early generator noise and limited water access for horses.

Camp ground was great. Site 16 was nice with an off to the side spot for our tent. Close to the pit toilets but behind the trees. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained for what they are. There’s a hand pump for water which we used primarily for washing and putting out the fire. Hiking trails within walking distance of the camp area. No need to use the car to get to the hiking trailhead.

The one negative is I only needed Thursday and Friday night but because I reserved online, I had to pay for Saturday night too. If I would have waited to pay, if not already reserved, I could have just paid for the nights I wanted at the campground.

Nice campground. Host does a good job keeping the bathrooms and sites clean. He was very friendly. Nice access to hiking trails. Plenty of shade at most sites. Water is available but only one station and it's a hand pump so that knocks down a star.

We stayed three nights with four horses at our two site, 19 and 20. 19 was great for tent camping and our LQ trailer tucked in nicely at 20. We liked the shade of these two sites. The sites were well maintained and the vault toilets clean. We loved the trails!
