We stayed at Riverbend RV Resort and Cabins for two nights during the off season in December and absolutely loved it. The property is beautiful, with a river running right alongside—perfect for kids and dogs to play.
Our site was private and secluded, making it feel like our own little getaway. The bathrooms were large and clean with warm showers and great water pressure. The property manager was welcoming and helpful, personally guiding us to our site and clearly taking pride in the property.
The only small downside was laundry—not all machines accept cards and there’s no quarter machine, but the office was happy to make change. Overall, a great stay and we’d definitely return. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This RV park/campground was a great find. We stayed because of it's closeness to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. It turned out to have so much more great things about it than the proximity to the National Park. The park it'self is very nice, spacious, clean, friendly staff, sites that back right up to the river, a lake/pond next door with a trail to walk around, it's right next to the river trail that goes along the river to the other side of town, it has tall trees, it's close to services and shopping...a great place. It's even close enough to other fun little towns...like Ridgeway where we went for a day to enjoy their art festival (one of the best we've ever been to) and other fun little towns we visited during out two week stay. We highly recommend this park!

This park was such a pleasant surprise! We stayed here for 5 weeks in one of the best sites in the park, right on the river.
The park is extremely kept up with including the laundry facility. The staff was out every day leaf blowing, refilling propane, and keep the park looking clean and tidy.
But the highlight is definitely the people! Cody set such a great tone upon arrival, guiding us to our site and giving us helpful tips about the park. Gary was also a standout - SO kind and friendly. One of our dogs tried to search for him every day and I know will miss him a lot.
The RV park is a good mix of short term folks and longer terms folks, many of which are incredibly friendly as well.
Overall, I'd highly recommend this park and we hope to be back someday!

Great park - we had a back in site right on the river. Scenic and a nice change from other places we've stayed. The view on the other side of the river is the back side of a shopping center, so there are lights from that at night, but it wasn't a big deal.
All of the staff members were friendly and helpful.
The sites are nicely spaced out and well maintained. They come around and clean the gravel and tables after each camper checks out.
The city of Montrose was great. Big enough (around 20K population) to have a variety of stores/restaurants to go to, small enough to be friendly and welcoming. Several stores we went to offered "local" produce which is something that I like to get.
We enjoyed a day of hiking and exploring Black Canyon of the Gunnison when we were here.
Will definately stay here again if we are in the area!

We pulled up here at 530pm on a weekday hoping for a spot....what a beautiful and clean RV park! The location along the creek was beautiful, management was so helpful and friendly, the other RVers were super nice, lovely dog park for our dog to enjoy plus another space down by the creek and the bathrooms were spotless! It was our first try at an RV park and we couldn't have been happier. It was close to town as well so easy to get around. Definitely stop here and I hope to be back! Thanks so much!
