The place was very accommodating, and had a bathroom at our site, along with a cover space to make food and water. The host, Celso was extremely friendly and helpful and greatly welcoming. Trail were close by for bird watching and the stars were bright and in abundance for gazing. Not one disappointment!

Nice shady campsite with water (#56) with great water view. Campsite was clean and level. Plenty of empty spaces available. Good stay. We will return if in the area again.

The bird trails next to the family campground were worth the visit, in and of themselves. The Dawn Chorus was like something out of a nature documentary. The species variation and activity level were top notch. The Pawnee National Grasslands auto tour was a short ride away, and the neighboring roads also offered plenty more birding opportunities. The camp host was very friendly and helpful.

Well maintained campground. Excellent area for birding, both at the campground and nearby.

We like how much space is between each site. It feels very private. We plan to go back to do some bird watching.
