Very clean site and restrooms. Wonderful hiking trails. It was like waking up in an aviary with so many birds singing. Will go back.

It’s a nice enough campground - you can still hear the highway but not too close. They charge too much for a place with no water.

Beautiful Easter weekend. It was very quiet with very few campers. The vault toilets were very clean. The trees are a nice oasis on the prairie.

My campsite had our last name on it, which was a really nice confirmation that it was ours. The kids at other sites were quiet after dark and no one played music that was too loud. You could see the stars very clearly at night. It was beautiful. The hand sanitizer left for campers at the restrooms was appreciated. Our campsite had also clearly been raked and checked for us which is nice to arrive to. There aren't a lot of trails, but there is plenty of outdoor space. There was some heavy traffic you could hear very early in the morning.

Pros; Had a last minute (within the week) site available on a holiday weekend. Easy to find and less than an hour from home - we weren't trying to drive 3 hours for just one night of camping! Campsites were clearly labeled, and spaced out from neighbors a decent amount.
Cons; Campsite was NOT cleaned prior to our arrival - not camp managements fault entirely, don't leave a bunch of trash and food on the ground! Not all of the sites had ample shade, so if you've never been you might end up without a ton (not zero) shade. Quiet hours do not seem to be enforced at all - our neighbors in one of the group sites were playing music and shooting off fireworks until the early hours of the morning.
Overall - for one, last minute night of camping with just us and the dog it was fine. Likely to return with corrected expectations, and we still had a pleasant time despite the downsides

This was the most peaceful camping trip I've ever taken. It was no problem to bring our own water, and the campsite was well maintained, quiet, and relaxing!

We wish we could have stayed longer! The site was pristine, level and scenic. It was quiet. We felt safe. Easy to back into. Overall excellent experience!
