Well maintained. Nice roomy sites. Clean bathrooms. The old farm equipment was interesting to see, but signs explaining what the equipment was would have been helpful.

Excellent visit. We had planned to visit a month earlier in May but got snowed out. The month of June is the latest we would consider camping here due to the heat. Semi-truck traffic and loud noise from their brakes went all night from the nearby road.
Birds were great. Had two nests in the trees about our camp and the bird activity was fun to watch. Enjoyed the short hikes around camp and especially on the ranch/farm property that allows campers to walk on a trail on their land.

The campsites are not close together and about half the sites have shade. It's a pretty quiet campground unless you have noisy camp neighbors, then the campground manager won't ask the neighbor to quite their party and the loud party continues past 3am, even though the manager was informed by other campers that the neighbors were very loud. Despite that, it's nice there are only 10 campsites at this campground and not a lot of people use the campground since it's out in the country without any public Lakes or reservoirs nearby. We went during the summer and they were out of water, plus any creeks and ponds were all dried up.
