Aspen Acres Campground

Aspen Acres Campground is above and beyond any other campground. I have stayed at it is just beautiful and peaceful.
All the out door out houses had running water. And spotless.
There is nothing bad I can say about this place!! I and the family will be back for sure

I will start off by saying this place has potential. When we called staff was friendly booked us three nights and we were excited to get away and relax for a while. Upon checking in everyone was confused on site numbers and where to go. It was very disorganized. We finally were able to get all set up and hooked up after being tired from driving only to find out at 2 AM once our solar had used up our battery that our hook ups were not working. We waited until the office opened at 10 AM. The lady came down and had no idea what was the problem and said her husband would be there shortly. He didn’t show up to the site until noon at which time we had to cancel our morning plans to figure out if we had to move sites or if they were going to fix the problem. I asked for a refund for that night and no one was able to get back to me or issue a refund. It was very disorganized and I would’ve hoped for better customer service for a family campground. I am still awaiting a refund for the one night in which nothing at my site worked. Communication was very poor here. I hope they can turn it around by first issuing me a refund and communication better with efficiency when campers have problems.

We had an amazing time! We stayed in cabin 8 - it's nice & secluded with a king size bed & loft with a bed. Everything is really clean. There's plenty of portable restrooms (our cabin had a restroom in it) & they're also exceptionally clean. They're open year round so the cabin had heat. There's a big rec room with stuff for the kids, a big tv, reading materials, pool & ping pong tables along with a kitchen where you can cook & eat meals. It's really nice. The staff is very friendly & welcoming. We will most definitely be staying here again & again!

This was our second time staying here and the first time under the new owners. We were blessed to be the only campers in what is usually a pretty full camp ground. We stayed in a sleeper cabin with our 2 year old. She loved playing on the Noah’s Arc swing set and playing in the 24 hour rec room. We really enjoyed our stay and how accommodating our hosts were. We will definitely stay again.

We had a great weekend at Aspen Acres campground. We were one of 4 RVs in the whole park which was very relaxing. Staff was friendly and our kids loved the rec room. We went to Bishops Castle and drove over to Westcliff to see a beautiful view of the mountains.
