What Guests Are Saying
Four Seasons RV Park offers a fantastic location directly on the water, with friendly and responsive staff who go above and beyond to assist guests. The park is clean and well-maintained, with ongoing improvements to the sites, making it a great choice for those looking to enjoy the nearby town of Salida and scenic views. However, some guests experienced issues with tight camping spots, small bathroom facilities, and occasional noise from barking dogs.

Great locations directly on the water and the staff was fantastic, albeit no front desk personel and our random visit had to be done online. The park was clean π as were the bathrooms clearly the staff works hard and it showed. The park was 60 % filled with responsible neighbors. Highly recommended!

The town of Salida is super fun, so this RV park being in close proximity was great. I think the larger riverfront campsites (R22 etc) would have been great, but they put us in R5, which was a new spot for this year. It was the tiniest spot I've ever had to shoehorn a trailer into, with almost no room for the picnic table or anything else on the side. The soil was super soft so impossible to put any stakes down to deal with the breeze along the river. They did say they will be revamping them but unless they eliminate a spot and combine them, I'm not sure how it could be made better. Neighbors were so close to us that the one next door had to put their brown water tubing right underneath our camp table. Luckily there were no odors so that was fine.
The bathrooms were pretty small (2 stalls, 2 showers) so there was sometimes a wait. The common room was nice and we had a group get-together there.
We also had a problem with dogs barking almost all the time. Even when ones in the campground weren't, the one across the river in a house were barking and howling. Luckily they mostly followed the quiet hours but it was still a long ways away from the peace and quiet we were wanting.
All that being said, the staff here was fantastic - very responsive, super nice, and lovely. they are not allowed to park the vehicles themselves but two of them came down and got us into our spot eventually. They responded almost immediately to text messages even - someone came running down on a golf cart to fix any problems we had. That was enough for us to book it again next year - in a different spot. :-)

We stayed in a river RVsite, great fishing and view. They were working on updating the sites, we can see the potential of the sites. The site was level, the help with parking and getting settled was amazing. We had a carpet and fence so us and the dogs were very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and had extra supplies in case you left yours at home or in the RV. Overall a great experience.,

We paid $110 for an RV site on the river. We felt it was way overpriced. Yes the setting is nice but you park on a pile of dirt. Zero gravel. Feels dirty. Moderately level. Not a single plant or shrub. It looks like a construction site to be honest. The people were very nice. I enjoyed looking at the river even though itβs not a pretty one. But we have paid way less for way better experiences.

We had a wonderful stay on the river! Staff was super friendly and helpful. It was our first time in our new camper. I'm so glad we chose this older established camp ground. Lots of trees and not a ton of spaces. They are making improvements to many of the sites. We can't wait to come back!
