What Guests Are Saying
O'Haver Lake offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with stunning scenery and well-maintained sites, making it a popular destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Camp hosts receive high praise for their friendliness and cleanliness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, issues such as limited water availability, noisy generators, and overcrowding during peak times detract from the experience, suggesting the need for improved management and facilities.

Love the site. The camp host wasn't there much, but everything went fine.

O'Haver is my favorite place to camp in all of Colorado. The lake is user-friendly for boating, fishing, and swimming. No motorized crafts are allowed, so it is quiet. Campsites are large and most are right on the lake. Absolutely gorgeous views morning and evening. Weather is chancy, with storms often coming off the mountains. But well worth it.

Be careful when mountain biking the Marshall Pass road - ATVs can be discourteous.

If reservations are not available, some campsites are first come-first served, also called "Walk-up" sites. First-come, first-served sites must be occupied the SAME NIGHT they are paid for. These sites usually fill Friday evenings and through the weekends. Due to the remote nature of campgrounds, calling to check availability prior to arrival is not possible. |
