The springs were awesome, but we went at night in the winter. There are pretty much no lights and it felt extremely dangerous getting around and into / out of the pools because it is very slippery rock that is covered in ice. I was holding on to larger rocks on the ground, and almost scooting on my butt over the ice to get out of the pool. Cool experience to be in the pool with the moonlight but very treacherous and freezing to get there. I’d go back if it was during the day or in the summer. I also wish I had worn water shoes.

I don't usually post reviews but after seeing all these negative reviews putting down what was a great experience I felt it was necessary. My wife and I enjoyed the hot springs in the middle of the day during a week when a lot of kids are off school and while it was a little busy, we didn't have any trouble finding peaceful areas to relax. We obeyed the rules posted on the website and all interactions with staff were great. We also followed their advice of wearing our bathing suits under our clothes making it easy to just put our clothes on the deck and get right into the springs. The walk down was slippery but snow and ice is to be expected in the middle of winter so being careful was enough. All the paths, restrooms and springs were well maintained and yes there was some algae in the uppermost pool, but these are natural hot springs so it's to be expected too.

I did not stay in the hotel, but the hot springs are amazing! 3 different temperatures, and the river is easily accessible for those bold people that want a cold plunge. I went after dark and I tried to not see any naked people but I accidentally saw a couple of them. I had clothes on don’t worry

I took Sweet Pea Tours to Strawberry Park Hot Springs on Feb. 5, 2026, from the Holiday Inn. I spent two hours there after a few days of skiing. There are multiple pools with different temperatures; it’s very relaxing and the vibe was easygoing.

I highly recommend bringing water shoes, as the walkways and pool bottoms can be tricky to navigate.

The springs have a rural, low-key feel. It’s nothing fancy—more like a camping atmosphere. While some might prefer a pampered spa experience, these springs make you feel alive, like an 1800s cowboy.

NOTE: I used Google to review my grammar

Strawberry Park Natural Hot Springs is absolutely magical. From the moment you arrive, you feel disconnected from the world in the best way possible. The natural pools are perfectly maintained, surrounded by beautiful forest and mountain views, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

The different temperature pools are amazing — whether you want something warm and soothing or hot and deep for full relaxation, there’s something for everyone. Staff were friendly, professional, and kept everything clean and organized.

Night soaking is unreal — quiet, romantic, and incredibly calming under the stars.

This place is a must-visit if you’re in Colorado. One of the most relaxing experiences I’ve ever had. 10/10 — I’ll definitely be back!
