Grandview Camping & Cottages

We stayed at Grandview CampResort & Cottages from August 10–24, 2025. The staff were friendly and welcoming upon arrival.

We stayed in Site N1, a gravel pull-through site with full hookups, a picnic table, and a fire ring. Since the site was located on the end, it felt more spacious and offered a bit more privacy, which we appreciated.

While we did not personally use many of the campground facilities during our stay, we did notice there is no on-site laundry facility, which can be inconvenient for guests staying longer than a few days. The park is pet-friendly for RV guests, although pets are not permitted in the cottages. We also noticed there were no dog waste stations throughout the campground.

Unfortunately, we experienced several utility issues during our stay. The power was unreliable from the time we arrived and continued to have problems intermittently throughout our visit. There were multiple outages related to the site electrical box, and the water pressure was often extremely low at times reduced to little more than a trickle. The water was also shut off on a couple of occasions during our stay.

Overall, this campground may work well for short stays or overnight visits, but we would not recommend it for longer stays, especially for travelers looking for a resort-style campground with reliable utilities and more than the basic amenities.

It's a quiet campground. There are restaurants, a small grocery store and gas station close by. The pool is always clean and well maintained. Basketball hoops, best for tennis/ badminton and pickleball. Excellent views. WiFi has become better for reception.

Came Oct, 2025 We were on the road for a month and a half. Need to do laundry.
They have NO Laundry room. They proceeded to hand me a card with the nearest Laundromat 27 minutes away in another town. Told me they were on a well water so they couldn't. But they had a pool guess she thought that didn't take water. Also there is very little shade to no shade in the campground area. What they have is clean and neatly kept. Give it a 4 out of 10

The staff was very helpful and nice. We stayed one night, 3 adults and a toddler. Big lawns, well kept, very quiet. The pool seems nice although we didnt go in. We especially liked the restrooms and showers. They were clean, new, spacious and equiped.
A good experience.

Bad experience, I do not recommend it. The manager came to our space at every moment, we felt like we were in a prison with many rules. He charged us 90 dollars extra because a group of people we know put up an extra tent and they did not want to pay him. He charged it to our group just because we knew those people. It is illogical because each person has to take responsibility for their actions, but the manager only wanted his 90 dollars, it did not matter who paid them. Very disappointed. I went twice but I will not return again.
