We really enjoyed our camping trip to Alexander Springs. The site was well maintained, and the bathroom was cleaned daily. The walk from the campground to the springs was short and enjoyable. The springs area was cleaned and spacious. The water was clear and refreshing. The stores in the campground had everything you may need and more. I loved they had ice and firewood for purchase which was convenient. We will come back to plan another trip!

Not a great place! Over crowded in many sites, loud people & music at all hours. Trash was everywhere and dumpsters were full so trash was piled outside and animals ripped it apart and scattered trash everywhere! No electric no water, NOT WORTH the cost!!! Stay away!

Our main reason for visiting Alexander Springs is to enjoy the spring experience. We have been coming here for 30 plus years. Water is constant temp winter and summer. There are US Forest roads which my husband can ride his motorcycle. Winter is a good time as there are fewer people.

The Spring was nice and clean as well as bathrooms there. However the bathrooms in the camping area and dishwashing area were not. We told a higher up NAdventure guy and he just said ok. The next day told another worker that the men’s room was messy and out of toilet paper. The third day reported the same thing and the woman said she’d try and find someone. Because they take turns cleaning. I watched one worker go in snd put in toilet paper, but left without cleaning! On the fourth day they finally decided to clean, but then shut down the men’s room.
Three nights in row we had loud neighbors till 1:00 AM. I was told to call the emergency # after hours. I did and got a recording to leave my name and number, THEN it said the voicemail was full!!! What a joke!
It’s a-shame that NAdventureis allowed to run National Forest. This group only cares about making money. The entrance fee, camping and canoe rental are ridiculous. Teddy Roosevelt would be very disappointed if he were alive.
That being said we stayed here and Juniper Springs last year and the staff then took pride in their work and were concerned for the visitors experience.

Beautiful park with excellent hiking. The spring can get crowded and it closes way too early. The spring should be open later for campers. There isn't any water and electricity at the tent sites. We still had a wonderful time and will happily go back again.
