We had a wonderful time canoeing on the lake and cooking out on the grill! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We're looking forward to doing it again.

Love it here. It's a great cabin and so private. We have been twice and will go again.

Cabin was clean and well maintained. Ample space around cabin for activities including a couple of trees to string a hammock. Access to two canoes and the gear to use them.

I will definitely be coming back to this location. For people who work remotely and travel, I got decent cell coverage (with AT&T). The cabin was beautiful and remote. I would recommend a truck, SUV or something with 4 wheel drive for the road into the cabin.
There are not a lot of amenities nearby, so bring in food, soap, dish towels, bath towels, linens. I wish there were ice cube trays.
It would be helpful if the light switches were labelled. The cabin got an amazing cross breeze if the windows are opened.
We enjoyed excursions to Alexander Springs, Hopkins Prairie, Juniper and Silver Springs during our stay.

This is our third time staying at the Lake Dorr cabin and I cry every time we leave. It is magical, beautiful, peaceful, and full of love. Bring your family. You will not regret staying there. I'm about to reserve again.

Beautiful location. Very quiet. Appears clean but were unable to use pull out sofa due to bugs. Lots of rat droppings in corners and under beds along carpet edge. We were looking for a place that we could plan a yearly family getaway, but this is not the place. We will not be rebooking here.
