I can’t think of a thing that was wrong. I’d say it was kind of perfect. There were few campers there so we had nearly the entire area to explore. There was plenty of room for each campsite and the shower facilities were spotless.

From I-75, take Highway 40 east through Ocala and Silver Springs approximately 40 mi to Highway 19. Go south on Highway 19 approximately 5 mi to Country Road 445. Go east on 445 for 5 mi to the campground.
From I-95, take the Ocala/Silver Springs Exit (Highway 40) west for approximately 35 mi to Highway 19. Go south on Highway 19 approximately 5 mi to County Road 445. Go east on 445 for 5 mi to the campground.
Alexander Springs Recreation Area is accessible via State Road 40, which is approximately 15 miles to the north. US Highway 441 is also nearby, providing additional access to the area.
