Alexander Springs Recreation Area offers a beautiful and well-maintained environment, with clean bathrooms, friendly staff, and a lovely spring for swimming. Visitors enjoy the peaceful campgrounds, spacious picnic areas, and opportunities for wildlife viewing and kayaking. However, some concerns were raised about pavilion maintenance, noise from nearby campers, and limited hours for the spring, suggesting room for improvement in management.

The springs were wonderful. It’s too bad. They shut them down at 5:30 in the evening..
It would be nice to have the trails reopened. There’s not much else to do there except for the spring.

The forest was beautiful, the staff was very helpful and we had a very nice stay. We wish the walking tail was open, the cost of entry is steep and the money should be used to repair the trails. I hope the funds are used wisely.
