Excellent campground. Barbara, camp host, was great helping us with our next visit in Sept. Very well kept grounds and bathrooms as well.

We were wondering why the BBQ grills were still missing after at least a year.

I’ve been coming to this campground for years, and had never seen it look as well kept as it was during our recent stay. During our stay, a nasty rain storm rolled through with very high winds. As soon as it passed, the Hosts were out picking up debris and making sure everyone was ok. The campground hosts were very friendly, helpful, and constantly out and about. We left a day early, and Barbara, one of the hosts, called to make sure we were ok. That’s exactly why we keep coming back. We just love WP Franklin Locks.

A quiet location with nature and a river as your companion; just enough away from city bustle and hustle. The volunteers are courteous and polite, diligent in their duties keeping the place well kept.
