We were thrilled to get into this COE campground in our 35’ 5th wheel. Very clean, easy access and gated at night. Stayed 3 nights in site #8 on canal.

W.P. Franklin campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many visitors. The serene river surroundings and well-spaced sites offer a relaxing atmosphere for fishing and enjoying nature. However, concerns about excessive speed bumps and some strict monitoring by hosts were noted, with suggestions for improvement on these aspects.

The sites here are awesome and kept well. It is a very, very quiet campground. We had our dogs and as dogs do they bark, the ranger wasn't very forgiving and it made us uncomfortable. Not sure we'll be back. Otherwise it was a good site for quiet and relaxing.

One of the best places to camp! Always clean bathrooms! The sites are always kept clean & good space between! Most importantly the hosts, Deb & Stan are the best! Helpful, cordial, pleasant& willing to help any way they can!
