W.P. Franklin campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many visitors. The serene river surroundings and well-spaced sites offer a relaxing atmosphere for fishing and enjoying nature. However, concerns about excessive speed bumps and some strict monitoring by hosts were noted, with suggestions for improvement on these aspects.

We stayed on both sides of this RV site. Restrooms and showers are available on both sides and there is a single dump station near the entrance. A dual-lane boat ramp is located near the entrance as well. Two delightful volunteer couples maintain and care for this beautiful park all four were incredibly kind and helpful. They keep the park in superb condition. We will definitely visit this park again when we are in this part of Florida. The location is a bit remote but there is a Boat house and Tiki Bar restaurant on the river within a few miles. We had a wonderful experience staying at this park.
