W.P. Franklin campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many visitors. The serene river surroundings and well-spaced sites offer a relaxing atmosphere for fishing and enjoying nature. However, concerns about excessive speed bumps and some strict monitoring by hosts were noted, with suggestions for improvement on these aspects.

One of our favorite parks! All waterfront clean level spots. Excellent value. Park attendants are great. A little tight pulling in with the picnic table roof so go slow. Fishing was fun just wish I had hooked that slot Snook!

This was a nice, clean and quiet campground. We had a site on the water and enjoyed watching the boats go through the locks. The host was friendly and informative. Will definitely go back!
