W.P. Franklin campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many visitors. The serene river surroundings and well-spaced sites offer a relaxing atmosphere for fishing and enjoying nature. However, concerns about excessive speed bumps and some strict monitoring by hosts were noted, with suggestions for improvement on these aspects.

Another great stay. The staff was friendly and courteous. The west side rest rooms were clean and new shower curtains installed during our stay. The hurricane damaged roof was replaced with metal roof and overall the grounds looked great. The boat ramp was clear of growth and had a lot of business. Can't go wrong with this location !!!

We enjoyed our time @ W P Franklin. We stayed there 3 nights and the campground was very clean and well maintained. The staff we met were helpful and very nice and the bathrooms were very clean. It 's awesome to have almost all waterfront sites at this campground. It is near enough to many activities and Fort Myers.
We would stay again
