Camel Lake Campground is a peaceful and beautiful destination, ideal for relaxation and nature lovers, with spacious and well-maintained campsites. Visitors appreciate the friendly camp host and the scenic trails around the lake, making it a great spot for hiking and enjoying the outdoors. While the dirt road leading in can be bumpy and the bathrooms may require some upkeep, the overall experience is cherished by many, who value its secluded charm and tranquility.

The road coming into the camp ground is not paved and is very rough. Not recommended for Motor coaches....but the grounds are very nice

Magical! So quiet. Large spots, plenty of privacy. No one was ever down at the beach. We stayed 9 days! Showers were spotless clean, water was hot. Immaculate campground! My favorite in Florida.

Remote, quiet, just what the doctor ordered. Large campsites, clean bath house, friendly and helpful staff. 5 outta 5!

We recently stayed at the Camel Lake campground for the first - but not the last - time. We brought our SUV, tent, screen tent, our 3 selves, and our dog; the (non-electric) campsite was more than big enough for all! The campground is well laid out, and with only 10 campsites is quietly located down a 2 mi gravel road. The bathhouse could use some upgrades but was otherwise functional. This campsite is a wee gem!

Camel Lake CG. is a very nice place to stay. The sites are huge with trees and shrubbery for privacy. 4 sites have electric and water 6 sites have neither. There is flush toilets and hot showers. There's potable water. Trash bins all around. This place is very clean. The host, Glen, super nice guy. He takes care of that place so well. For the price, it's cheap for what you get (AMMENTIES, SPACE ETC.). Check it out.
